When is the best time of day to do the tours?

The morning excursion is always recommended in the winter months because it might get chilly in the gorge in the late afternoon. It gets darker earlier and might get windy in the afternoons.

Families with little children like the 11:00 or 14:00 tour during the summer months, depending on their group, as they have a great time up in the forest. Swimming is quite safe, and the water is warm.

Although the river is quieter and the weather is cooler in the late afternoon, we cannot guarantee that you will spot any wildlife. Nevertheless, these cruises are ideal for birdwatching.
